• Team props. Team props for NFL draft betting are a bit rare, but one can still find offerings such as “Team X Will Select a Quarterback in Round 1” or “Which Player Will Team Y Select in Round 1?” These latter picks tend to be limited to the teams choosing within the first 10 or 12 picks of the first round.
• School props. The rising star within the NFL draft betting game are school props, one final way for universities to beat their rivals and/or win the bettor money. College football devotees can even enjoy props like “Number of Alabama Crimson Tide/LSU Tigers/etc. Players Selected in Round 1.” Some sportsbooks may even offer head-to-matchups with handicaps as well.
Because the draft order isn’t quiiiiiiiiite set until after the outcome of the Super Bowl is known, sportsbooks offer the majority of NFL Draft-centric betting markets until after the champion is established.
