The Chicago Bears lost to the Detroit Lions 41-10 in the trenches on Sunday. The defensive line did generate multiple sacks for the first time in months, but the offensive line was outmatched against a Lions pass rush.

The Falcons have the league's least productive pass rush. The team recorded 18 sacks in 2021. They are hitting quarterbacks at a low rate. Their pass defense is also not very good. They probably won't have a great defense again until their pass rushing is at least an average one. It's no great exaggeration to say that the team won’t have great defenses again unless their defense improves.   The team has a bottom 10 pass defence despite playing many great quarterbacks.

Za'Darius Smith was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for October. He generated 22 pressures and recorded 7 sacks in four games. Since then, he has just one sack in his last six games for the Vikings. The team has struggled on defense recently.

The Miami Dolphins defense was very effective against the Houston Texans. They pressured and hit the quarterback and forced him to make mistakes. The Dolphins capitalized on the turnovers and scored a touchdown.

Azeez Ojulari was designated to return from injured reserve on Monday. He has played in just two games this season because of a calf injury. The Giants lost 28-20 to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.

The Ravens posted two sacks and registered four pressures. Dalton was 8-for-11 for 109 yards and a touchdown under pressure. Juwan Johnson scored a 41-yard catch-and-run on the play. The team's defensive coordinator, Don "Wink" Martindale, has been emphasizing positionless team-building. He wants players to execute any assignment from any spot on field. On the first sack, they ran a simulated pressure, threatening with five pass rushers at the line of scrimmage.

Seahawks and Buccaneers are playing the league's first-ever game in Germany on Sunday. The Seahawks are 6-3 and have a strong pass rush. In 2021, the Seahawks ranked near the bottom of the NFL in sacks. This season, they have eight sacks, which is a significant improvement from last year's total of 34.

Kenneth Walker III and Dameon Pierce are the current favorites to win NFL Rookie of the Year. Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen and Saquon Barkley are top candidates for Most Valuable Player. Geno Smith is the favorite for Comeback Player of Year and Micah Parsons is leader for Defensive Player Of The Year in the Dallas Cowboys.

Raiders are on the road against the Jaguars in a must-win game on Sunday. Jaguars running back Travis Etienne has been on a tear since getting the starting job a few weeks ago. The Eagles acquired Robert Quinn from the Bears in exchange for a fourth-round pick. Quinn is a three-time Pro Bowler who has played the last two-plus seasons with Chicago.

The NFL trade deadline is on November 1. The Philadelphia Eagles are interested in Andre Dillard.

Lamar Jackson and Gus Edwards led the Ravens in rushing yards last week. The Ravens play Tampa Bay on Thursday Night Football. Tampa gave up 173 rushingyards to D'Onta Foreman and Chubba Hubbard last time.

Cincinnati Bengals are tied for the fourth-fewest sacks in the NFL through six games. Clelin Ferrell is a pass-rusher for Las Vegas Raiders. He has 4.5 sacks as a rookie in 2019 but hasn't played much since. The Bengals have talented pass rushers such as Trey Hendrickson, Sam Hubbard, and B.J. Hill. They would prefer to keep what they have. Ferrel is in his final year of his rookie contract.

Dallas Cowboys have been a contender without their starting quarterback. Dallas leads the NFL with its 24-team sacks. Micah Parsons leads Dallas with six sacks and 31 pressures. The Cowboys ranks second among all defenses while winning 54% of pass rushes. Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell is not surprised by Parsons' instant success.   . Lions passed on Parsons in last year's draft. They took offensive tackle Penei Sewell at Pick 7. . It's listed with 94 plays inside the box and two shows at slot cornerback. it's also listed with 106 snaps on the other side.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are playing for the NFC East title on Sunday. The winner will take the lead and the tiebreaker. If the Giants keep up their current pace, they will lose the division.
