Washington Commanders are in the playoff race. The Wild Card Watch will continue as long as Washington has a chance to earn a playoff spot. The thoughts in this article are my own and do not represent the views of Hogs Haven, its other writers or its managing editor.
The NFL has had a busy week with holiday games. Buffalo won back-to-back games at Ford Field for the first time since 2016. The Giants beat the Cowboys. Miami beat a team with no chance to win. Denver lost to Carolina. Buccaneers lost in overtime to the Browns. Bears beat Jets. Bengals beat Titans. Bills lost at home to Detroit. Ravens lost against Jacksonville. Texans lost a game against the Jaguars. Dolphins beat Texans. Broncos lost. Jets beat Bears. They won against Jets, who are 3-9. Bills lost their home game to Lions.
The New Orleans Saints travel to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game starts at 8:15 p.m. ET. New York is 4-8 and the Saints have had a disappointing season. Tampa is 8-3 and their team is the division rivals. Andy Dalton is playing for a contract tonight. He will try to score some points. Buccaneers' defense has been solid all season and should force several turnovers.
After college football championship weekend, we move on to week 12 of the 2022 NFL season. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs travel to Cincinnati to take on Joe Burrow and Bengals.
The NFL stats blog is back with the latest edition. This week's topics include the Rams Super Bowl performance and the quarterbacks named Bryce and Bryce.
The New Orleans Saints are 4-8 and have a tough schedule. They play the Buccaneers on Monday night. FanDuel has the Bucs as the favorites to win the NFC South at -310. The Falcons are second in the division at +600, the Saints third at $850, and the Panthers are third with +1500. The Saints beat the Falcons in Week 1. If they lose to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they will have swept the league.
The New York Giants started the season with a 6-1 record. They have lost three of their last four games. This week's game is the second of four consecutive NFC East games for the Giants. It's their first game of the year against the Washington Commanders.
Robert Zeglinski has a record of 11-5 for the week. I'm going to pick the New York Jets to beat the Chicago Bears in Minneapolis. The long slate of home underdogs means I'll probably be around .500 this week, but it gives me something to talk about.
AntMac was placed on the Steelers active roster for their game against the Colts on Monday Night Football. He got some touches, rushing six times for 30 yards.
