The NFL MVP is an award reserved for the best offensive player. Patrick Mahomes is the odds-on favorite to win the award. However, the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles are at the top of their respective conferences. The odds are skewed, which is generating value moving forward. The winner will be announced on December 11th. It is a very difficult choice.
Philadelphia has had six giveaways in the last two games after just three in first eight games. The Eagles want to stop the trend. Jim Irsay fired Frank Reich and replaced him with Jeff Saturday. Dallas Cowboys have as many wins as their next 3 opponents combined. Houston Texans are worse than them, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are not. They play each other in December for the first time since 2006. It's difficult to see the Cowboys losing any of their last three AFC South games, but it's also difficult for them to beat the Texans. Houston is worse. Jacksonville is better than the Jaguars. Texas is even worse, as it is for 100 years in a row.
The Miami Dolphins are 7-3 and sit atop the AFC East standings. They are on their bye week. The Phinsider staff voted for the team MVP, OPOY, DPOY and more.
Jalen Hurts has thrown for four touchdowns in a single game for the first time in his NFL career. The Eagles dominated the Steelers 35-13 on Sunday. Three of those touchdowns went to A.J. Brown.
The Kansas City Chiefs are taking their bye week in Week 8. The Arrowhead Pride writing staff members each had one vote for their seven midseason awards.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is the favorite to win the Offensive Player of the Year Award. Michael Thomas and Cooper Kupp are the only two of last three winners to be a receiver and a quarterback.
The Las Vegas Raiders are on their bye week. They are handing out early season awards at Silver and Black Pride. The team is over a quarter of the way through the season.
Lamar Jackson is the favorite to win the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award after the first three weeks of this season. He's the only Ravens player with any rushing success. Jackson has rushed for more than 100 yards each of last two weeks.
