NFLbets was really getting into preseason NFL betting and just like that, on Sunday evening, it’ll all be over – for now. The final 11 games of the 2022 NFL preseason go off beginning on Thursday, marking the last chance to beef up the betting bankroll until September. (It’s only a couple of weeks away, but still…)
Point spreads and over/unders for week 3 of the preseason are as follows.
• Green Bay Packers -3 at Kansas City Chiefs, over/under 36 points
• San Francisco 49ers -3 at Houston Texans, O/U 41½
• Seattle Seahawks -3 at Dallas Cowboys, O/U 40
• New England Patriots +1 at Las Vegas Raiders, O/U 31½
• Los Angeles Rams +2½ at Cincinnati Bengals, O/U 38½
• Arizona Cardinals +3 at Tennessee Titans, O/U 38
• Chicago Bears +5 at Cleveland Browns, O/U 38
• Philadelphia Eagles +2½ at Miami Dolphins, O/U 38
• Washington Commanders +6 at Baltimore Ravens, O/U 39½
• Minnesota Vikings PK at Denver Broncos, O/U 39
• Detroit Lions +4½ at Pittsburgh Steelers, O/U 39
A few early hot takes:
• Tom Brady has returned to Tampa Bay Buccaneers practices, just in time to avoid any possibility of having to play preseason games. NFLbets is shocked he didn’t want to get into one of the preseason games just to screw bettors…
• The Baltimore Ravens didn’t have to work hard to defend their now 22-game preseason winning streak alive against the Arizona Cardinals, taking a 21-3 lead into the fourth quarter. We’ll see how badly they want number 23 against Washington, but we’re thinking they might coast again…
• Dan Campbell is certain to be insufferable in the episode of Hard Knocks centered on the Detroit Lions’ preseason week 2 game against the Indianapolis Colts. The over/under on utterances of “I love you guys” and “I love this team” has been set at 3½ – an easy over bet.
• Tua Tagovailoa made his 2022 debut for the Miami Dolphins, went 6-of-8 for 58 yards and his Fins lost, 17-13. NFLbets knows this is only the preseason, but can someone explain why the Dolphins’ over/under wins total is 9…?
