NFL betting – Point spreads, over/unders for week 6 – odds, lines, payouts
No matter how you feel about bye weeks in the NFL – on one hand, bye weeks have fewer games to bet on; on the other hand, well, bye weeks have fewer games to bet on – at least we can say one thing about this season’s week 6 slate: Finally the 5-0 ATS Atlanta Falcons will go down.
So let’s take a look at all the other offerings in NFL betting in week 6. The following are the lines, point spreads and over/unders for the fourteen week 6 NFL games.
Washington Commanders +1 at Chicago Bears, over/under 37½ points
Baltimore Ravens -5 at New York Giants, O/U 45
Cincinnati Bengals -2 at New Orleans Saints, O/U 44
Jacksonville Jaguars +2 at Indianapolis Colts, O/U 42
Minnesota Vikings -3 at Miami Dolphins, O/U 45
New England Patriots +3 at Cleveland Browns, O/U 42½
New York Jets +7 at Green Bay Packers, O/U 46
San Francisco 49ers -5½ at Atlanta Falcons, O/U 44½
Tampa Bay Buccaneers -9 at Pittsburgh Steelers, O/U 44
Arizona Cardinals -3 at Seattle Seahawks, O/U 51
Carolina Panthers +10½ at Los Angeles Rams, O/U 41
Buffalo Bills -3 at Kansas City Chiefs, O/U 54
Dallas Cowboys +6 at Philadelphia Eagles, O/U 42
Denver Broncos +5 at Los Angeles Chargers, O/U 45½
NFLbets’ hot(tish) takes:
Atlanta is not nearly as bad as Carolina, but trends say the Falcons are destined to lose one handily, and that beastly 49ers defense are just the ones to snap that annoying ATS run…
We don’t care if they’re at home – NFLbets still has to ask why the Bears are getting points against anybody, even if they are playing the … oh wait, never mind. Okay, Chicago -1 vs Washington is reasonable – but only a true degenerate would bet it…
With Detroit on a bye after a pummeling by the Patriots put them psychologically back at ground zero, NFLbets really regrets that the Lions can’t be the subject of Hard Knocks: In Season. Campbell’s got to be coming up with some tremendous stuff right about now.
Finally, here’s Denver in their fourth of five primetime games this season (the Broncos also get the national spotlight in week 7 when they play the early-early UK game against the Jacksonville/London Jaguars) and, well, yeah. Note to NFL schedulers: You might want to keep any first-ever head coach with a post-prime franchise quarterback on a new team off the more-viewed time slots…
